Control DiddyBorg V2 with wired gamepad

Hello,
I'm working in a french company and I have to buy a little rover to put a camera on it (3 axis with 30x zoom 400-700g). I found the DiddyBorg V2 and I think It could do the job pretty well. However, I need to control it wirely. I do not know the Raspberry world and I do not have much time to code. So, do the code provided on this page https://www.piborg.org/blog/build/diddyborg-v2-build/diddyborg-v2-exampl... will work with a standard wired gamepad ? Thank you in advance !

Yes, that script should work with any gamepad or joystick which works with the Raspberry Pi itself :)

Towards the top of the script there is a section labelled "Settings for the joystick". The axis and button numbers will need to be changed to match your gamepad. There are some instructions here for figuring out what the correct numbers are.
