My question. Is it possible to monitor battery voltage level when using a BattBorg and Picoborg Reverse, using code only? Like analog reads on a Arduino?
Unfortunately no, there is no battery monitoring capability on a PicoBorg Reverse or BattBorg.
Our new ThunderBorg motor controller does have battery monitoring built in, it even has an LED based battery status function :) It is slightly more powerful than PicoBorg Reverse, has a built-in 5V regulator (no need for BattBorg), and some additional functionality such as an RGB LED.
At the moment it is available as part of our latest Kickstarter here. After we have shipped the ThunderBorgs to our Kickstarter backers it will be available on the website.
