Pi connected to USB power without battery

Forums:

During testing I connect USB power directly to a 5v USB adapter. I unplug the 2 plugs to the picoborgrev board when doing so. If I left them connected, would there be power to motors via the raspberry Pi?
Thanks

The PicoBorg reverse gets power for running the motors from the V+ and GND pins only.

In order to get the motors to run you will need the 2x 3-pin cables and the power to V+ and GND attached at the same time.
