PCB only option
Forums:
We have received substantial interest since starting the PiBorg project in making a build it yourself version available.
In response to this we have decided to offer unpopulated PCBs for which you can source your own parts and solder them together to make your very own PiBorg.
Please note that PiBorg is intended to talk to a Raspberry Pi via the I2C pins on the GPIO port.
It should be possible to use an alternative I2C master to control one or more PiBorgs, however software and instructions provided are based around using a Raspberry Pi as the master and such projects will be supported at our discretion.
