Questions about ThunderBorg

Forums:

Hello, I'm interested in buying this motor "PiBorg Motor 12V 450RPM - 42mm". In the specifications it says:
1) Rated Current (A): 2.1
2) Stall Current (A): 12.0

My question is:
1) Can i run this motors with ThunderBorg? (the specs "Proper 5A output per motor connection")
2) If not, what motor controller can i use?

Unfortunately it cannot, this motor can far exceed the 5A limit on ThunderBorg.

The stall current, 12A in this case, is the largest current the motor will draw from the motor control board / battery when operating at the intended voltage.

We would recommend our Diablo board for motors this powerful. We do not have any stock at the moment, but it looks like Pi Hut does https://thepihut.com/products/diablo
