Issues with Ledborg and Pi 3
Forums:
Hi,
I have a recently bought an LEDBorg and it has been working on my original Pi model b. I have upgraded to the Pi 3 and attempted to get the Ledborg working on this which I thought would be simple but I cannot seem to get it to work. The LED only flases on for a split second when using the bash script.
I am unsure of how to proceed with this. Please could you give me some advise on what to do next?
I have already tried OS reinstallation, installed wiringpi and checked the pins. I moved the LEDborg back to model B and again it worked in there.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Alistair

Rather unexpected
As far as I can tell nothing should have changed for driving the GPIO pins on the Pi 3, it should work as it used to from a shell script.
Just to confirm you do have the LedBorg on the first 26 pins of the Pi like this:

These are the first 26 pins:

I do not have a Pi 3 to test with at the moment, but I do know that the Python examples work fine. Could you try one of them and see if the same strange behaviour occurs?
